Thats perfectly fine. Leave the moniflow as one zone, and the addition can be another.
Just manifold the two zones, do it up all sexy and you'll be fine.

monoflo hydronic system integrated w/ circuit loop
I am doing a addition on a home that has monoflo through out house. I've been doing hydronics for years and really never ran into this scenario. I would like to make the addition a circuit loop zone, with the rest of the being left as is, monoflo. There is a seperate zone valve for this area already. There will be approx. 55' of baseboard installed w/ total circuit lghth of 90' 0n 3/4" cop. tube. Seems doable to me or am I looking for problems?0
