Best backflow test kit?

Barton prime, model 246, not cheap, bellows type, bought and maintained (re-cirtified) from Backflow Consulting, Denver Co. The teacher of the backflow testers course should be able to help with choices and availability in your area.

    Best backflow test kit?

I need to buy a good quality yet reasonably priced backflow test kit, anyone have a recommendation? Thanks for your help!

    backflow

    I have a Conbraco 140AC and a Watts TK9A .

I am using the Conbraco right now because I had it recertified this year.

Both are good units but they are not cheap.

I paid $400.00 for each unit 15 years ago...

Thanks Dave, Is there a reason you recertified the Conbraco and not the Watts?

    recertified

The Conbraco needed some repairs as one of the diaphragms inside had ripped .

I did a seach on the internet and found a Company in PA that repaired them. I had them go through it and replace any damaged parts , and recertify it.

The City I live in requires an RPZ to be tested twice a year , and DDC every year.

All testing is done by Private certified testers like myself

PS: The 15 year old Watts reads the same as the recertified Conbraco , so they don't seem to go out of ajustment.
