Just had a service call for steam leak, what i found was a vacum system with a dunham return trap/and dunham air eliminator trap the steam was coming out of air check on top of the air eliminator trap.My question is why and what to look for to correct.Boiler is approx 2 years old with a pressurtroll cranked way down. All the pipping to traps seems to be correct(as per illustrations in dans books)

Bad radiator traps
leaking steam into the dry return. It's probably best to replace the guts in all the traps. Don't forget the crossover traps at the ends of the steam mains.
