Smelly new Radiator

in THE MAIN WALL
I just installed a new governale radiator in my kids room. When the heat is on and the radiator gets hot it emits a smell. Is there anything I can do stop this ?

    paint

    the new paint on radiator takes a few cycles to burn off.
