Rattling sound in radiant zone

This week I finally turned on the radiant zone which is for our master bathroom floor and heard a rattling sound coming from the basement. In that particular zone, there is a 007 Taco pump and then immediately downstream (attached to the outlet of the pump) is a Flo-chek valve. I couldn't tell whether the rattling from coming from the pump or the valve. I opened and closed the knurled screw on the top of the valve, but the noise continued.
It lasted for about 45 minutes and the went away. The next day I heard it again, but since then it has been silent and the floor is warm. Any ideas what piece of equipment would be suspect? Is it the sound of impending failure or maybe just because the zone had not been run in months? Thanks.

Dave, valve off the pump and carefully remove the impeller cartridge. Look for debris in the impeller or housing and flush with each isolation valve. Make sure the cartridge spins quietly and easily by hand. That should cover it!
