Being a volunteer firefighter and in the heating business I certainly understand what can happen (and how suddenly) with CO.
Here is an incident that happened on New Years Day here in Pa.

I know that there are some municipalities in Pa. that require CO detectors in EVERY home. There is now a push (finally) to make this a law throughout the state. Hopefully our elected officials can get there heads out of there arses and do something QUICKLY!
