day/night furnaces

Stop: as in, they are running normally and then fail to fire on the next call for heat?

And both of them are in the same building and fail at the same identical moment?

When you disconnect the power and re-energize they both start and run normally? For how long?

    day night furnaces

I have 2 sep funaces that stop. reactivate when I disconnect the electric and replug. both have their own thermostat.
what could cause both of them to act this way at the same time?

Demons . are the usual cause..

they arrived previously with screwdrivers and some Blue orange and yellow wire nuts..

now all you got to do is figure out what went where then all is good :)

it might be a safety switch in the Fan Room. any over heat or fire and Bang it shuts Both of them down.

    1. they will run normally and then fail to start on the next call for heat sometimes.
2.they are in the same home zones 1 & 2 and they have
failed at the same time except for once
    3. after re-energizing they will run sporaticaly from the next call for heat up to a couple of days
    4. the only thing they have in common is that SDG&E installed special thermostats that can be remotely set by them. they are coming to look at them this Wed.
    thanks

bypassed safety switches to check out. same problem.
sdg&e thinks it may be the board, but having both go out at the same time is a little hard to believe

Is it possible that the furnaces are twinned and one locking out on error takes out both of them? Day/Night? What model would that be like in Carrier terms.
