Getting rid of air block around circulator

A pipe leading to one of the radiators came apart and had to be rewelded. The problem I'm having now is that there is apparently an air block preventing the grundfos circulator from moving water. There's no air bleed around the pump and I was wondering if there are some tips or tricks to get rid of the air. All I can think of doing is leaving the circulator off and bleeding the rads once in a while.

air block
You could always crack the flange on the discharge side of pump while pump is running. Plan on getting wet or drape plastic around to direct the flow.0
