We installed the boiler, 1 1/4" Spirovent air eliminator, etc. in 1999. Anyone know what would make it leak now? Can it be repaired?

There is no glycol in the system.
It's an old house with cast iron rads. It is a converted gravity system0 -

Gunk and crud
Probably just needs to be taken apart and cleaned out. I;ve had several Micro-bubble types do this. Sparco, Spirovent, Danfoss etc. Just unscrew the top and clean it out. Usually it's just some crud that has built up underneath the valve seat in the float chamber.0
