Hand-Crafted Copper Radiator

This is going to stay in the office, but will also make some appearances at home & garden shows.

Matt really is a craftsman. I will also say that this is all pre- Rems Curvo. I see a curvo in Matts future.

This would be an excellent towel warmer and several requests are being made around the shop as we speak.

I'm a little surprised Matt hasn't posted here tonight. C'mon Matt, you know you want to....

Again I am only the recipient, Matt is the Artisan.

Built for me by Matt J

I was totally blown away today when Biggerstaff Radiant's very own Matt Jarchow unveiled this. I cannot begin to thank him enough for this labor of love.

He built this from scratch and hand-bent the copper and drilled the tee's for flowing action. He used a copper tank from an old ISE hot-water dispenser and a taco 006 circulator.

I think it is wicked cool.

The arrows on each end are a spot-on match for the Biggerstaff Radiant Solutions logo.

Well done Matt, and a heartfelt thanks.

    Regards,

    PR

And I was thinking, "What's Hot Rod done now?"

Very nice and completely self-contained it would appear...

    Towel warmer?

Towel warmer use will though test the safeties.

Fold them around the sections and it looks like you could easily get four full-size bath towels.

    Copper Rad

Beautiful workmanship. Will need to be lacquered to stop it going discoloured though, Unless you want to be continuly polishing it.

    Gorgeous Matt!

It's a silent thousand word argument for never throwing anything away! I'd like to see a picture of the tool you bent the copper with. Kevin

    Amazing Workmanship

    and without a curvo!

Bet someone has sore hands and forearms.

This appears to be a working unit, is there a relief valve on it? Can't see one in the pics.

    Impressive

Obviously a lot of work went into that work of art. Why not protect it with a low water cutoff?

    Thank You

to everyone for all of your compliments on the rad! This little project was a labor of love for me, I love to work with my hands and with copper.

After seeing what Hot Rod has done with copper, it has inspired me to try my hand at it. I will probably never reach his level, but at least I can try? Hot Rod I don't think you have anything to worry about!
