just did a service on my nephews house early 60's
Burnham sectional with a newer Carlin /// it has a domestic coil and is connected to a Ford booster tank --i have seen many of the Blue Ford tanks -which had all leaked and been replaced --but this tank is a bronze colored tank --does anyone know what material it was made of ?? if these are the same as the blue ones --i will be replacing it very soon --if not maybe it'll stay --

The bronze coloured ones came before the blue coloured ones. If you change it add 20 gallons to make up for the lack of stone lining. Everhot and Superstore are the only purpose built coil/storage tank makers I can think of0 -
The bronze tanks are Everhot Aqua Boosters
That tank is a Everhot Aquabooster. They lined with fiberglass and are made of steel. They have a 5 year warrenty if I recall. Have changed quite a few in the CT northwest area. The blue FORDS are still out there but the Bradford White-Aero newer aquaboosters match up pretty well when changing them out.
