....you would need to look at the manufacturer's rating for the specific heat pump to verify actual rated heating output. The rating will vary according to ambient temperature, also.

    Professor,

    Is the cooling rating on a heat pump, EX: 36,000 btu, equal to the btu you get out of it during heating mode?

    Is there a way to convert cooling btu to heating btu's?
