Hydrotherm GX200 questions

I am looking to replace my boiler next fall. I have already posted a few questions and got some good feedback on how to measure my heat loss (to prevent oversizing the new boiler).
I currently have a gas, hot water boiler. It's a Hydrotherm and is about 25 years old. It has performed well, so I am looking at replacing it with the Hydrotherm GX200 mod/con.
Have any of you had experience selling/installing one of these units? If so, what are your thoughts?
Also, it appears that many of the new boilers have 1" supply and return pipes. The pipes going into my old boiler are 2-2.5". Will the replacement require replumbing the pipes near the boiler, or do larger sections of the 2" pipes need to be removed?
Thanks!
