Frank here's the vapor system in w. Hartford

here are the pictures i told you i would get, very nice house,woodwork is great shape, all in wall convectors. and a real nice humidifier cabinet. Needs a little piping work, needs a vaporstat, he would like a autofeeder.rebuild traps.

That's a Webster Type R Vapor System

with 02H thermostatic traps. Pretty standard Vapor in the way it works. You can get trap parts from Tunstall or Barnes & Jones.

Never saw a humidifier like that before! Is there a name on it?

I like the reducing adapter in the relief valve. I used to find that in the older homes in Springfield they were mostly steam. Not much hot water. Hartford always seemed to be mostly hot water. In fact I never saw a gravity hot water system till I worked in Hartford.

Have you found this to be true or was this just some abberation of the customers we had????????

Oh there is alot ...alot of steam in hartford,alot of apt bldgs, i did a 8 section W+M in hartford That was a nice job. And yes big bucks in W.H.
