Finding Steam Heating Specialist

I'm on the Board of a pre-war CO-OP building in NYC. The building is heated by 2-pipe steam and we are experiencing a lot of water hammer. We've had a number of plumbers take a look at the system over the years, but each one ends up telling us something different. It's not clear to me that any of these guys are real "steam heads". What certifications/licenses/etc should we be looking for to help find someone how really knows steam?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Matt "Mad Dog" Sweeney is the one you want. He has designed and built a steam system from scratch, and of course it works perfectly, so he can fix whatever is wrong with yours.
