Who would have made a boiler sold as an American Standard?

A customer called about a boiler with an American Standard nameplate that appears to be approximately 20 years old. He thinks the burners are stainless steel and have come to the end of the road.
Model # 2BN-J2
Anyone know who would have made this thing? We are an American Standard (forced air) dealer- so we're not entirely ignorant of the history- but our distributor doens't know how to help or where to direct us for possible repair parts.

it is more than....
20 yrs. old...Am. Std. was bought out by Burnham in the early 70's. Perhaps Glen Stanton would know about parts but at this point it would probabaly be a good idea to decommision it.....kpc

Bought out by burnham boiler in 1973. I would not be so quick to cut out this boiler without knowing whats broken. J. Lockard0 -

if it has stainless burners, it is someone's rebranded boiler, not a true AS0 -

A/S boiler
Sure have a lot of them around here. The Arcoflames came with a non-retention burner and had a stainless steel combustion chamber. It was tubular and open at the top side of the barrel. Haven't seen one for years. Most have been converted to new burners using a preformed tub chamber.0 -
That sounds like
a boiler serial number. Have him look for other numbers. Then take them to Dan's Library. The boiler rating is probably there.
