a gas fired space heater. Unvented.
The pipe coming in the bottom right looks like a gas supply, definately not a steam supply.
Might make a nice conversation piece, but I would NEVER use it for heat.

What is it, exactly?
Regularly snooping ebay for that special radiator and came across this:

It's within driving distance for me, and might be worth it if anyone thought it might be functional with one pipe steam. Anyone familiar with these?

its a
gas fired ceramic heater. These appeared in homes from around the turn of the (last) century thru the 20's or so. Around my neck of the woods a lot of homes have those shallow fireplaces that are not configured for burning wood. This is what usually went in there.Terry T

Yikes- no thanks. I thought that pipe looked a little small. We already have one CO machine (gas fireplace) to rip out, I can't see paying for another.
