try moving the check valve higher up so the water above it does not slam back down on it

noisy sewage pump
I have a plumbing question re: a loud banging noise right after a sewage pump has pumped. The pump float will cycle the pump to pump and right after it is finished the 2" ABS makes a loud banging noise. We replaced the combo check/ball valve to see if this would help but it didn't. The 2" ABS on the outlet is typical where it rises approx. 6' vertically and 90's across horizontally 5' and connects into the 3" ABS to the septic connection. Is there any way of eliminating this banging?0 -
could try that. just need a few couplings.0
