Steam Boilers and chlorine levels in makeup water

There was a thread about chlorine levels in the makeup water that is causing boiler damage. What is a acceptable level of chlorine? I know that you want a ph range of 7 to 9, Sulfite levels above 150, and to blowdown when the TDS is above 4000. Also would like to say happy holidays to everyone.
