radiant heat under wood floor

Be careful on that site. the info there ranges from pretty good to not good at all.

You can install radiant under wood. Moisture content is very important. Type of wood, width of flooring, saw method also play a part in how good your results will be. Intensity of your heating requirements (determined by a heat load calculation) also let you know how close to "hot water"... yuk yuk... you are.

I recommend checking out the RPA's flooring guide. it's $10 well spent. http://www.radiantpanelassociation.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=246
