Improve EPU-CH efficiency with SPC digispan??

We are installing a Heat Timer EPU-CH in a four story building heated by a 2-pipe vapor system.
In an attempt to improve the Heat-Timer's efficieny it has been suggested that wiring a SPC digispan with sensor to the BB circuit of the EPU-CH would keep the Heat-Timer from running for heat if the SPC temp has been reached?
Has anyone had good results with the addition of the SPC?
Any feedback is much appreciated.

Makes sense to me..
Out door reset is nothing short of fantastic. It just has one slight flaw. It doesn't reflect what's actually going on inside the envelope. If you set a sensor, set it in a worse case scenario, i.e. north facing, top floor unit. This way, you've covered the best of the worst.
The fuel savings should be nothing short of UNBELIEVEABLE!
