There are two versions of the Revolution boiler. The original version and the Revolution II boiler. The difference is that the second version with a 90% efficiency rating has a secondary heat recovery device to extract several more degrees from the flue gases to the return water before leaving the building. These have not been promoted very heavily possibly due to a fairly hefty additional price tag. Many have bought and installed Mod/Con boilers instead at a similar price.

He are in the process of introducing two new Fully Modulating Condensing boilers and rumor has it that the Revolution II might be discontinued. The original Revolution has and continues to be a very good selling and well performing boiler and will continue on.

    A job spec. calls for Revolution boilers, I am being told it is in the process of being discontinued. If this is true, what was the problem with the boiler? And what would be a compatible system to put in?
