Christmas Present (Glenn Stanton)

Congratulations! That's one grandchild for each grandparent-no need to share! That is truly good news for THIS holiday season, and it will be even MORE fun next year, with little ones about. It was nice of them to plan the kids after the heating season, so you will have more flexibility.

My wife and I got the best Christmas Present anyone could ever wish for this morning. My daughter, who is expecting twins, had her 18 week 3-D Ultrasound this morning and got to see our two future grandchildren in three dimensional living color! We will officially be the proud grandparents of a baby girl and a baby boy in late April. Jen and her husband have had a hard road of it having had two miscarriages in the past two years. Glad to say that all is well and everyone is healthy! That's the best gift that anyone could ever ask for! Merry Christmas everyone!

Does it get any better than that?

After a gift like that, who needs the new i-Pod?

Many blessings, Glenn, to all of you. Nice to be a grandfather while you are so young, too!

    Merry Christmas!

    That's great news!!!

Grandpa Glenn to twins, yet! WOW. That is the best news anyone can get. I'm glad you're getting "one of each", that way you & Grandma don't have to argue over who gets to hold the babies! You'll make a great Grandpa, just hold off on handing your grandson a wrench until he's old enough to pick it up! Have a great Christmas & Happy New Year!!!!

    Special Congrats Glenn!

Having excellent grandparents will really help the new arrivals. Twins tend to overwhelm new parents and once again buffering can be a good thing if the application requires it. All the best!

    great!

Congratulations! I'm told that grandparenting is best described as "all of the fun and none of the responsibility."

    Best wishes to your family.

    Twins are a blast Glen

What one doesn't think of the other will. My girls will turn 30 on January 20th, my birthday also. They were the best birthday present I ever had or ever will have. Double the fun, double the ear infections, double the teething, double the diapers, double everything. Your kids will appreciate some help and a break for an evening out from time to time. Something tells me that Gramp and Gram would be very likely to assist with the logistics of that. Enjoy 'em and tell your kids to learn to laugh at the chaos. Otherwise they'll go crazy :) We'll be praying for their safe and healthy delivery and we'll need to see pictures when the time comes.

I too will be a grampa this Spring, right around my birthday. Here's the pictures of my new grand sons.

    Ain't technology grand!

The newborn was adopted by my eldest daughter, and the preborn pictures were taken last week in the womb of my youngest.

TO YOU AND EVERYONE IN YOUR FAMILY GLEN, GREAT NEWS.....TOM KANE
  • Thanks Everyone!

It's been a couple of days now since this news and we're still floating a couple of inches off the ground. We've known for a month and a half about the twins now, but the big concern was about their proper development and health. But to be able to know what gender they are is a real high! Here is a shot of them from several weeks ago when she discovered there were two and another of the "Parents to be". Back then they were labeled Baby "A" and Baby "B". Merry Christmas everyone!
