Oil Tank Leak,
to my neighbors to view the progress. What a MESS!. All because of an outdoor oil tank leak. The rear of house is about 15Ft. from the rail line. I wonder if anything leaked from the trains in 150+ years? They "jacked-up" the home and are re-doing the foundation! What a "cash cow" for the excavating contractor. This has been going-on about 3 months now. Think you have a tank prob?, have it checked, you sure don`t want this!

The Cash Cow
I work with a guy that used to work for an environmental company. That's the cash cow. Following regulations, they test, test some more then monitor the area after the clean up. When people come to these sites and try to justify keeping an old under ground tank it makes me crindge. You are seeing what happens with a tank that is visible and can be watched. Think of hundreds of gallons unknowingly lost till it's too late. It almost sounds like no one was keeping an eye on your neighbor's tank unless it was a freak spill.
