hot water zone getting hot

upstais zone getting hot when not calling for heat. replaced flow check and that didn't work. could it be getting hot thru return side

Flo check float tightened down?
Thermostat problem? Short in wiring?
Is the circ running, or is it thermosyphoning?
Some guys here have HAD to put flo checks on both supply and return. Just some ideas.

It all depends on the piping layout near the boiler. I typically put them (checks) on both sides and have never had a migration problem...
