you'll now be asked to type a series of random number and letters into a box. This is there to help keep spybots off the site. The following times you post during that session, the system won't ask you to type the random numbers. It will hold your session in memory for two hours after you close your browser. Beyond that time, it will again ask you to enter the random numbers/letters.
I know it's an inconvenience, and I apologize for that, but it will help cut down on spam, and it's a system that many of you have asked me to set up. So here it is.

i have tried to post a new thread twice today with no luck...?0 -
hmmm. It worked for that response, I'll try a new thread again0 -
It's too bad
people can't be responsible and that we can't get away from e-crap, now they can call us on our cell phones. {yea}0 -
well I just posted a new thread...It all worked fine.
Thanks,
TOm0 -
I had trouble before, but my last one worked. Kind of tough to tell the difference between a O, o, or 0, or a L, l or 1.0 -
I cheated...
I copied and pasted the code into the little box... Hope that does not defeat the purpose!0 -
Brilliantly simple! I'll try that next time.0 -
Only if
the spybot can do it.Retired and loving it.0 -
Some more info
If you're within a thread and you want to go back to the main Wall, use the BACK button at the top of the Wall. If you click QUESTIONS on the navigation bar, the system will reset and you'll have to enter the random numbers again.Retired and loving it.0 -
Dan

Thanks to you and the folks at Invision!!

It works0 -
It's not working.....
...for me. When I click on my "Wall" bookmark, it takes me right here, no security code required. If I click on "Questions" on the banner, same thing. If I "exit" and then click "Questions," same thing.
I have not had to enter a code yet! (edit: until just now when I went to post this)

I'm seeing the same thing Dan.
The only time I've been asked to enter a code is now to post this post. By the way, if it means anything, I'm using Firefox for my web browser.0 -
Dan
the wall is my home page. When i open my browser the wall comes up no code. I can see the code now while i type this i will try posting without useing code.

test. I don't think this works exactly as you say. There is a real good chance that I am confused however. bob0 -

Here's what I see. There is no code to enter to get into the wall. I am asked "Is this Paul Fredricks?" I click yes and it brings me to the wall. Sometimes, not always, there is a code to enter in order to reply to a thread. Like this time.0 -
I have not been asked
my name, only to enter a code in a reply.
Brads suggestion works.
