common 2 transformers together, this is done often when wiring Taco ZVs #2 is common to all. This is easier when transformers have R and C designated, it is not a bad idea to fuse all your transformers.
A transformer is a new Source, seperate from your line voltage in the home and should be protected. to find this DIVIDE THE VA RATING BY THE VOLTAGE OUTPUT
THE RESULT IS THE AMPS RATING
insatll that size fuse or just a notch higher, do an amp check while it is running, funny how all commercial tarnsformers are protected and residential is not, hmmm.
You must however take your time, color code your wires, ie make white or blue common, do not mix yourself up, I am always nervous when turning on the power for the first time after wiring something like this, cuz, if you miss something, it will smoke, keep your finger on the switch when starting

multistage t-stats
Thanks for the reply:
I have quite a bit of low voltage wiring and
I already let the smoke out of two transformers(one was too small and the other must have backfead from the boilers transformers.
I would love to have two seperate switches in the single tstat. Maybe like the old honeywell's with two bulbs.
Thanks

use a relay
Isolate it with a relay, assuming its a heat/cool stat for the hydroair use w2 for the air and w1 for the coil of a relay for the floor. Good luck with anticipation/cycle settings floor would want something other than what the air coil will want.0 -
tekmar
how about a tekmar i believe it's a model 152-4 it has a adjustable differental and i believe a timer for the second stage also i know it's alittle bit more money but it's good stuff if not i would go with a isolation relay or two .Those relay in a box are nice adjustable coil voltage(24 v or 110 ) and a led light indicator.good luck and peace clammyR.A.
