Pressuretrol Settings

I have 2ea Honeywell Pressuretrols on my boiler. The system runs at 5psi. I lowered the set point on 1 of them by lowering it from 5psi to 2psi and changed the adjustable differential from 2 to 1. The boiler still operates at 5psi. What is the correct setting for this arrangement if I want to try to lower the pressure?
