I believe we are slowly turning the corner and getting the general public to demand more of their technicians and installers.

I'm an electrician (with a definite leaning toward heating & all kinds of efficiency), but the more I talk about smoke detection & CO to the folk I know, the more ears I tweak, & the more respect I get.

My daughter loves me, my clients trust me, & that's all the respect I need.

BTW, my Grandad's name was "Big John Hall", and he conserved energy in a "wrathfull way" :O) we were usually on the "end" of his wrath but we loved him anyway.
