Wondering how acutrate a surface mount sensor would be for a garage slab i didn't rough it and after a little reasearch found it to be a little shy of the lose and they are also looking at a/c for the garage so i'm proposing to do a hydroair to make it up and also warm the place after the 18 ft by 9 ft door opens ,but here's the catch there no rough in for a in the slab sensor so i was wondering how well a surface mounted sensor maybe expoxied to the floor would work .I am planning to use a fixed mixing valve for the radiant and uses a munchkin t80 wall mount boiler and a vision one controller size the hot water coil for lower temp about 140 with a variable speed air handler also there a 2 nd floor apartment which will be baseboard and sized for the lower 140 water temp .I know i could use the vision 2 and some 3 way valves but i don't think that is in there budget and as things sit now this whole set up may be over there budget .On the same page the a/h and boiler /indirect tank are all in a very small foot print under the stairs with the electric panel super tight .Plus the radiant is vega 1/2 300 ft loops and only 3 loops on 12 centers doesn't even meet 1/2 the heat lose poured without pressure test applied aside from all that what,s any one experence with surface mounted slab sensors thanks ,good luck and peace clammy
