It was all business as Dave Yates looks over the Watts Radiant Hydronex mechanical panel during a booth visit at the AHR Expo. Showing some of the features is the famous and talented Mike Chiles. Now here are two good guys from the wet heat trade.

    A blue-ribbon belly!

All work? Must have been a side of AHR I missed(G). The only hard worker I saw there was John Hall as he worked the show interviewing lots of potential story candidates. If I was his boss, I'd give him a great big raise.

The "all business" award goes to the ASHRAE committee Robert Bean asked me to sit in on! That hard-working group was filled with a brain-trust that was both intimidating and exhilirating to watch/listen/learn. Tim Doran and Gary Hayden were two of the mental giants who both drilled down to the bone when asking pointed questions of the guest speakers. Every time I get surrounded by so many smart people, I realize just how much I haven't learned!

I had a blast, saw lots of great products, a ton of outstanding folks associated with all aspects of the industry and appreciated the hospitality of a number of manufacturers. It was tough choosing which after-hours events to attend! My feets were killing me, but my belly and head were crammed full with lots of great things.

Even met John Hazen White for the first time, which was a real treat!

One of the best parts of attending an event like AHR, however, is seeing old friends and sharing war stories. An all-to-brief encounter with Dan Holohan & Judy Garber.

The time flew. Spent about 12 hours total over three nights in the hotel room!
