24\" minimum to header
i work for a program that helps low-income homeowners with getting new boilers. we recently had a job where the first horizontal piping ( not the header ) is not 24" above the water line. the riser comes to a "t" with one pipe continuing straight up to the header. the other pipe goes horizontal for 6" - 8" before turning and rising to the header. that first turn is about 19" above the water line with the header being about 30" above the water line. should this work all right? pipe sizing is correct and the equalizer piping is off of the header. do i need to have our contractor come back to fix this?0 -
