Hi Carol,
When the L7224U has the Low Limit disabled (cold start mode) will the aquastat still prevent the circ from turning on until the boiler is above the Low Limit? (I hope it does prevent it)

Here we go--When the Aquastat is set to disable it works exactly like a L8148 and there is NO Low Limit so the answer is no, the circulator will turn on simultaneously with the call for heat just like a L81480
