Triangle tube boiler

The boiler has been in about 2 yrs{not our install} Has had numberus sooting problems,hey were corrected. Got a call there today found the burner AFG2 would locking out in 15 secs. Check and replaced the nozzle still the same problem. To bandaid the situtation I put the transformer to the orange wire and it ran . Any long term fixes.

    Was it firing and locking out or locking out without fire??

    Are you sure you have power to the blue wire if not replace the control. Transfomer 10,000 or 14,000v, good spark etc???

    firing and locking out and yes its the right transformer
