If you are getting water into your #2 oil tank fix the promblem water in the bottom of a steel tank is NG can cause tank to rust and leak .Find where your getting water from using a oil seperator is not the true fixer .Is this a below groung tank and is it a single or two pipe oil line system .I have seen tanks get moisture from 2 pipe systems with long oil line runs back ever year ends up costing you filter replacements and it does no good for your fuel pump also .Find the cause check fill and vent piping a oil leak into the ground is not a cheap clean up last one i knew of was only about 250 gallons and only cost about 35,000 bucks .The HO was pissed but he was the guy who put cinder blocks under the tank and was notified many many times of tge tanks condition ,there went this guys retirement money no tank insurance and n he still went with a extra cheapo single wall tank he will never learn good luck and peace clammy
