Choosing the right CastIron Heater size...

Help!! My father and I are in the process of installing one of those outdoor woodburning stoves and would like to also heat his building which is 40x60. We were able to pickup about 10 castiron registers from a town building being remodeled, but we don't know how many teh building would require. Obviously we are concerned about recovery time as well as limiting the amount of wall space we use up. We were looking at installing 2 heaters each 80" long with 8" wide and 23" tall (46 fins). Our other option is to install 2 heaters 54" long with 8" wide and 36" fins (22-fins). Knowing nothing about how these heaters are sized, we don't know what solution will work the best or if both are equally bad. Can anyone help me identify the right registers for our need? Thanks in advance.

Heat loss & EDR
You first need to do a heat loss calulation of the building which will tell you how much btu you need to maintain building on the coldest day of the year. Look up the type and size of the radiators you have..check books in top link pick up the"EDR" book.... That book will tell you the out puts.... If you want fast recovery on cold days increase radiation....0
