What is this about a "torch tax"? At first I thought it had to do with angry mobs storming the castle, then realized it had something to do with MAPP-Quest :)

Seriously, was this a local or federal issue? Had not heard of it before.

yes dave our fine city council is at it again!!! and they think that the people should follow in their footsteps ! kind of reminds you of the illfated torch tax !

I see where we went wrong...

in our ardent and thoughtfully polite campaign to kill the dreaded $100 torch tax fee.

A simple trip to the restroom would have quickly resolved the issue!

To think we wasted three months and hours of listening to absurdities when a quick head-thumping would have gained all the attention needed!

Any thing any time in my town they have used it a few times all for BS .To me it's always something to do with keeping large construction projects going to keep the unions working and happy and ecomicmic times good at least for union workers and bussiness agents .It's just a loop hole of the good ole boys .Mike i'm liable to be out there in the woods with you and weezbo .It's a great way for large developers to remove low income slums and bring in more money i myself don,t watch any sports or support any originized sporting athorities until i get 3 million for a 2 year contract to play a game a game remember just a game and you wonder why peoples proirities are so wacked .What type of message is this sending the younger generation ?Just like your body you only own it while your in it but remenber those who controlled the wealth 1000 years ago are still the master puppeters today peace clammy
