    Oilheat cares

Anyone interested in donating a few hours of their time to install a boiler in the home of a Long Islander who's fallen on hard times? The Oilheat Cares Committee has approved an installation that will take place in Coram this Saturday. If you'd like to help out please send your contact info. Thanks!
  • I'll see what's going on

for Saturday . If we aren't working , I'll lend a hand . Anyone else sign up yet , John ?

Oh , before I forget , I pulled out one of those special 3/4 inch radiant nipples out of a Low York . I'll be sure to give it to you next time we meet up .

Jason, My friend George Perrelli and the chapter of naohsm that he is involved with have already done one or maybe more it's late I can't remember :)

Anyhow I think it would be great if you could let him know about your willingness to help the next time they have an OHC Project on the slate.

Thanks for offering your time. Bless ya buddy!

  • Field Trip ?

I am on the mend after a motor vehicle accident , but can I mention this to my hydronic heating class students from Boces as a field trip ?
Certainly not to get in the way of the artists , but for them to lend a hand if needed .

  • Sorry John

I tried to switch a prior engagement to Sunday , but I couldn't do it . If I knew about this a few days before the post I could've skipped out on what I was doing ( helping my sister fix her house ) . Well , guess I couldn't do that . But I do understand this might've been an emergency and there ain't no forseeing when that happens .

I am free on Sunday if you need some help wrapping the job up . Ever work with a grumpy polock with a hangover ?
