Router-ing floor to run Multi-Cor to panel rads..

Has Toyo stove style heaters now. Three level cabin with detached garage. Going to use plates on on level, and Buderus panel rads on other two levels. Cannot get pipes from manifold location to panel rads without having to build a box around along the whole perimeter of house. Ugly and time consuming. Existing floor as of right now is just 3/4" plywood over 2x12 joists, with bottom of joists decked with plywood and entire joist bay insulated as this house sits up on pilings and bottom of house exposed to air as this cabin sits on perma-frost. How about routering a groove in the 3/4" floor to run some 5/8" MultiCor, then popping up right at the panel rads? Then finished floor can go down over it and everything hunky-dory. What say ye??
Thanks,
Rocky

    I suspect

those bays are insulated? If not, you can push PAP a long ways in a joist or stud bay.

You could go in from the top, it will weaken the subfloor to groove it like that. It is also hard to protect from future nails. But, you need to get from A to B somehow.

Do some calcs, I've seen panel rads run with 1/2" sometimes 3/8 if you can run a wide delta t. That makes fishing a little bit easier, and much easier to bend out of a floor with smaller id.
