restoring a radiator

Im restoring a radiator. It wont be in use so in this case looks are more important than function. Im looking for an old brass valve. Where can I find one? Dose someone make retro valves? Also, what would you say is the best looking radiator vent?

You can find some VERY fancy radiator valves in the UK. In the US, they're all the same-at least the new ones.
To my knowledge, only one vent is available in the US--the "coin/key"--and it's both ugly and impractical on an old radiator. Fancy varieties available in the UK, but just like the valves, the threading is different.

Try,
American Radiator or Wolverine brass. They have brass valves in both steam and hot water configurations. Chris0 -
If its hot water or just decorative
the old pet cocks with scrolling on them are cute. I might have a few lying around, I'll look. Mad Dog

brass rad valves
Burnham I think has decorative valves for their ornate cast iron radiators. You could buy the valves only.0
