a customer cook a rear section of a 4 year old W/M 678 over the weekend. We got a 80 series section & draft hood ,gaskets up and running after being down just a day. Glad it wasn't nipples or I'd still be sectioning it.I built the boiler for easy dis-assembly but didn't expect it to have been me. Loop off tankless feeds two space heaters in the morgue, yea in a funeral home but its quiet.Dave

Nice coincidence
We replaced a whole 478 steamer a few weeks ago . Which I installed in place of another 78 4 years ago , following a 2 section replacement I did in 96 . Sound repetitive ? BIG water leak somewhere in that residence that noone can find . The O rings make these replacement far easier than push nipples . But I still like the push nipple seal better . Good job Dave .0 -
thanks Ron
yea break down and bolt up would have sucked with push nipples,Dave0
