To any of the wet heads who can help or direct me:
I have a client who has a 2 story house with standing radiators, water boiler, with circulation pumps.
She loves to remodel the house, and has a handyman do the work!!
While remodeling the bathroom, she decided she did not like the look of the rediator, hence forth, MR. HANDYMAN removed the radiator and replaced it with one 4 foot basebord heater.
This year she asked me to see if there is something wrong with the plumbing, since the bathroom is the only room in the house that is cold.
He hooked into the original flow tees that the original radiator was hooked to.
Supply temp at inlet 151
return temp at end of baseboard 151
other radiators have at least a 10 degree drop
It seems to me this baseboard is too small for the area, do I need to reduce the flow,
put a larger baseboard in, which will not fit, or have MR HANDYMAN find the original radiator.
Thank you

You
Don't say the size of the bathroom but the baseboard is only giving you about 2200,00 btu's and I would be the old standing rad gave off at twice that much if not more. Your onto something with the flow rate but the bigger problem is the on/off heating style of the basebaord as compared to the big standing rads which held the heat longer. The baseboard in the bathroom never runs long enough to get hot and cools off two quick to balance well with the others rads.
Handyman did no help at all.
Your friends best bet is to get the old rad. hooked up another one like it.
Good Luck
Scott
