bad pipe pitch

i recently purchased a 100 year old house with 1 pipe steam heat i have a pipe in one room that over the years has settled in the wrong direction. leaving a 1/4 inch of water at the elbow coming out of the floor.
in order to raise the pipe i would have to rip up the entire floor and notch the rafters to raise the pipe sufficently. other than discontecting the radiator is there any other options.
thanks

kinda depends...
on other circumstances. Is the space below, the basement? You may be able to 'drip' the area into a wet return. Pictures are worth a thousand words. If you can take some, post them here on the 'Wall' and maybe someone can help.
