Victorian radiator bags

In the article about radiators that produce too much heat in the "Steam Problems?" section, it talks about cloth bags that the Victorians used to cover their radiators. Does anyone have any more information about these bags? I would like to know more about what they looked like, and what material they were made out of. If anyone has a picture or drawing of one, that would be really awesome. I have been searching, but have been able to find anything other this site that mentions them.

The drawing
was in one of the books that I caretake, but there are so many and I can't seem to find it. It may have been in a book that I have since passed on.
Imagine a large pillow case, made of very heavy fabric. There's a drawstring on either side that you can pull to raise the open end of the pillow case to the desired height. Slip this over the top of the radiator and there you have it.Retired and loving it.0
