fumes from painted radiators

Help!
Painted some of my 1928 radiators with a metal primer and then an oil base rustoleum paint. Now the heat is on, and the odor from them is literally unbearable. Irritated eyes, nose, throat, etc. Will it burn off, and when? Time is of the essence.
Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
