Since a HW rad only gets up to 180*, and maybe 25 psi, maybe JB weld or a similar product. Maybe a MIG weld?

Leaking radiator
Have a pin-hole in one of the hot water cast iron radiator sections. Is it feisable to remove the section and reclamp the radiator back together and modify the piping or will it take a replacement radiator? The house is old and the odds of finding a replacement section may be low. The radiator heating system most likely was installed in a house modification, when the "coal fired fireplaces" became obselete. What is your suggestion for a fix?
Thanks,

pin hole
if the pin hole is accessable you can drill & tap it . say 1/8 "0 -
I've seen
HW rads get to 200F and over 30PSI
MIG isn't really an option. Brazing maybe, with a skilled torch and EXPERIENCE.
Taking out a section could cause more troubles and isn't as easy as it looks.
JB weld might hold if done correctly, acetone etc.
Drilling and tapping sounds like a good idea, with the right pair of hands and eyes.0
