Very nice work. I like the pipe supports you used on the vertical runs.

Our company is slated to install about a dozen of these little beauties over the next few months. I love the clean installation.

    Thanks for the pictures.

    Condensate Drain

The exhaust piping should have a 90 degree elbow and a drip tee as close to the GB142 as possible, then 90 degree up. Please contact us if there are any questions.

    Hi Uni
It's great to see your comments lately. How many clicks did you put on the bike this year. The indirect is an Aeroso and I believe there brought in from Norway.Great unit, been using the 50 Gal.for years. This is the first 75 gal I've installed.

    Joe.
The vent goes straight out the wall.It doesn't make sense to to add another 90 and therefor increase the linear feet of the vent just to service 3' of pipe. Will call you tommorrow to discuss.

    Singh
The supports are called ringstays or standoffs. They are quite common in Ontario. You order for the pipe dia. required in long 21/2"centre or short 11/2" centre. It allows the pipe to expand and contract without wear.

    Thanks

    Flow check

    Hi Singh,

That looks like a 15-58fc for the indirect.

I was sent some pics of your work by SupplyHouse Rick.

    Very nice!

    Nice job.

I agree that it doesn't make sense to add pipe or extra 90's just to add the condensate drain in the exhaust.

I spoke to Steve Grady from Buderus and he agrees as well. Short run, no problem.

    15-58

You have a keen eye Mark.I use the 15-58 almost exclusivly on residential. It's nice only having to carry only 1 pump that can do so many jobs.

    Thanks

    15-58

And is the 15-58fc enough for the indirect
    and GB?
Just curious, Buderus recommends the 26-64 for their ST150
how does your indirect compare in relation.

Thanks Mark, and your work is very nice as well, being that
your nearby, maybe one day we'll run into each other.

    Condensate Drain

Steve Grady was refering to a "short" run as follows; off the exhaust of the GB142 a PVC street elbow is installed right at the exhaust connection and a run of six inches of straight pvc pipe is installed to get outside and terminated. No other fittings or lengths of PVC pipe can be used. We are still in the approval process of this type of vent installation. Please contact us if there are any questions.

    Aeroso

    Brian,

Probably too many clicks if you ask my better half... maybe 6 or 7k on sactioned rides. I can really feel my fitness level falling every week since the season slowed down in September. Now it's home reno and pizza season until April. ;-)

I believe the Aeroso tanks are made here in Mississauga. It was a joint venture with a company in Norway (they supply the heating coils). I never realized that Bradford-White bought them out 3 years ago until I went to look them up.

    Keep up the good work.
