WM Ultra check valve?

that is shipped with those Ultras, I installl the circs with the B&G Check-trol iso flange. Be sure to have a Y strainer somewhere in the system. Little copper or solder chips will stick in those checks.
If I pipe an indirect tank I use both the top and bottom connections on the Ultra. I install both circs pumping in to the return side of the boiler. I use the Weil indirects which have very low pressure drop. Pump away from the tank and into the return of the boiler, for the same reason the boiler pump pumps into the boiler.
This assures the boiler sees the increased pressure from the circs to help prevent any flashing in the HX where the intense fire meets the wall of the HX.
Some brands of small condensors have pressure switches on the HX also. If you pump away from the boiler you may drop these out and have lockout issues.

WM Ultra check valve?
What do you use (make/model) for the "flow/check valve" shown in the boiler loop diagram? A regular flow-control, an actual check valve (if so, whick type/brand/model)?
Thanx in advance, Adam0 -
I use
a B&G Flo-Control. Gives me the check and doubles as an ell. I wouldn't use a swing check, it could be noisy at the flow rates present.
I would use B&G Flocheck flanges, except my supplier only carries them in sweat0 -
I generally
use a circ with a built in check. Or the B&G iso-trol flanges with built in check.

So you don't use the 0011 that comes with the boiler?0 -
If memory serves
you can do a Taco 007 or Grndfos Brute with check up to a Ultra 105,we are just finishing up a 105 tomorrow.0 -
The B&G checktrol....
gets my vote....

Could I trouble you for a diagram, I'm not clear on your explanation.0 -
Adambuild
go to the post "another hydroniCAD" and click on the post from Siggy. That's pretty much how I would pipe an indirect to an Ultra.
