you used the wrong column. The 17 GPM was for a modern system designed for forced circulation, without all the extra water in old gravity pipes. I would have used the NRF-33 or Taco 0010 on that system.

I just looked up that article. You know its funny that I did a circulator switch to a NRF-22 on my gravity system from an older P series 1 1/4 (I don't remember exactly, but I think that's right).
What a difference. I have about 1,100 EDR and the spec on the chart is just under 17 gpm. The NRF-22 filled the bill. And it really works well. It heats much faster.
I recommend it.0
