heat loss info needed

getting ready to give a quote on a new gas fired hot water boiler boiler house is an old town house in east boston ma. big cast iron radiators when i ran the radiator heat load i need a wiel mclain eg 45 so should i do a heat loss on the size of the rooms or just go by the connected load PS all the rads are made by the gurney boiler and radiator co. of east boston ma.

If steam (as I know you know) you size by radiation. Hot water by heat loss.
If to much radiation is installed you might need a bypass to keep the return temp up.
